Assoc. Prof. Michael Jorge Peralta, MSc, Executive Assistant for Intellectual Property & Research and ITSO Manager, was invited by Prof. Belinda V. de Castro, Ph.D., Director of the Colegio de San Juan de Letran, Manila Research Center to be one of the resource speakers in the Research Week held last March 17, 2016 at the Colegio de San Juan de Letran, Intramuros, Manila.
Its objective is to build the capacity of Letran faculty researchers to conduct research and to be better thesis advisers to their students. Capacity building is one of the objectives of the ITSO project, which also serves as patent libraries, the source of patent information.
The UST ITSO offers services such as basic IP trainings, patent search, patent drafting, and soon, technology transfer.
Assoc. Prof. Peralta receives the certificate of appreciation from Prof. de Castro.
