Zacarias, Caaway of Fine Arts, Ibay of EdTech complete AUDRN workshop on local knowledge integration

Last September 18, 2015, three Thomasians completed the workshop on Local Knowledge Integration, sponsored by the Asian University Digital Resource Network (AUDRN), of which UST has been a member since 2013.
Ms. Adrienne A. Zacarias, College Secretary of the College of Fine Arts and Design (CFAD), worked on the Art Appreciation General Education course, while Dr. Santiago III Caaway, CFAD’s Educational Technology (EdTech) Coordinator, worked on Empowerment Technologies for Senior High School. Finally, Ms. Irish C. Ibay, EdTech Center’s Scriptwriter, worked on an interactive multimedia project for the Mother Tongue subject, offered in Grades 1-3.
The Asian University Digital Resource Network (AUDRN) is an educational network of academic institutions and professional in the Philippines and other Asian countries that serves as a collaborative hub to promote the (re)discovery and use of local knowledge in higher education and expand 21st century digital and critical literacy through capacity-building initiatives.
Presently, it has evolved into an independent and sustainable network of colleges and universities (UST officially joined in 2013) in the Philippines and continuously expands its partnership with other academic institutions in Asia.
