P. Bolaños of Philosophy delivers lecture on Nietzsche’s ethics and ontology

Assoc. Prof. Paolo Bolaños, Ph.D., Chair of the Department of Philosophy of the Faculty of Arts and Letters, presented a paper titled “Thinking with Nietzsche: Deleuze and Some Interpretations of the Eternal Return,” in a lecture organized by the Faculty of Arts and Letters and the Ecclesiastical Faculties last October 10, 2015 at the UST Martyrs’ Hall. The said discourse was lifted from his book On Affirmation and Becoming: A Deleuzian Introduction to Nietzsche’s Ethics and Ontology published by Cambridge Scholars Publishing in New Castle, United Kingdom.
The lecture was complemented by scholarly reactions from respected authorities of Critical Philosophy in UST, namely: Dr. Jovito Carino, Mr. Roland Theuas Pada, Raniel Reyes, and Ricardo Gutierrez. Another highlight of the program was the official turn-over of a donated copy of the book to Prof. Robert Montaña, Library Coordinator of the Faculty of Arts and Letters, for the Miguel de Benavides Library.
