Fr. Coronel of Social Media Bureau talks about social media ethics to support staff

Last October 23, 2015 (Friday), Fr. Louie R. Coronel, O.P., Director of the UST Social Media Bureau, delivered a lecture entitled “Trending in UST: To Post or Not to Post,” to the support staff of the University of Santo Tomas, at the Civil Law Auditorium.

Recognizing the immense power that social media wields, Fr. Coronel exhorted the participants to reflect first on whether a post is worthy of publication, on whether a thought is worthy of expression, highlighting the moral responsibility inherent in each thing that a user publicizes on social media.
