UST BS Interior Design sweeps NYDA Awards 2015

Nippon Paint Philippines announced its winners at the Marco Polo Hotel last October 21, 2015. This year’s theme is “Design with Heart” and should be interpreted in the principle of Universal Design. UST CFAD BS Interior Design participated alongside other interior design schools in the Philippines and was very fortunate to land 7 places out of 10 finalists, besting hundreds of other entries.
Martha Joyce Tomas, a junior, bagged the special award “Best Sustainable Design” and the Gold Prize for the Interior Design Category with her entry, “Biojet,” which will be representing the Philippines in the Nippon Design Competition in Thailand this March 2016. 
UST CFAD BS Interior Design was awarded “Best Supporting College” and “Best University,” both in the Interior Design Category while IDr. Michael Suqui won “Best Professor” as Martha Tomas’ adviser.
