Brunei’s St. George’s School delegates visit UST

The Chief Operating Officer of St. George’s School of Brunei Darussalam, Mr. Anthony Yun Chiang Liew, led administrators, faculty members, and students in visiting the University of Santo Tomas last March 29, 2016 (Tuesday), for a cultural tour.
The visitors were welcomed by UST officials and students, led by the Principal of the Junior High School, Assoc. Prof. Marishirl P. Tropicales, PhD, and the Principal of the Senior High School, Assoc. Prof. Pilar I. Romero, PhD. The program began with a cultural show that included performances from the Junior High School’s best talents. The delegates likewise observed classes of the JHS, visiting teachers and students engaged in learning activities in the different subject areas. This was followed by a meeting between UST and St. George’s School officials in the JHS conference room.
The delegates were toured around the Miguel de Benavides Library, the Quadricentennial Square, the UST Museum, and the Main Building.
