Faculty researchers from the National Dong Hwa University of Taiwan held two lectures as part of the Lecture Series on Advanced Research in Physics and in Biological Sciences last February 26, 2016 (Friday), at the UST Thomas Aquinas Research Complex. The lectures were part of the 2016 Science Week celebration.

Feng-Chuan Chuang, PhD, Chair of the National Sun Yan-Set University, Taiwan’s Department of Physics
Advanced Research in Life Sciences
The lectures for the life sciences strand were delivered by the following:
Japanese Encephalitis Virus-Host Interactions Modulate Antiviral Defenses and Viral RNA Replication
Prof. Ruey-Yi Chang, PhD, Chair of the NDHU Department of Life Science
Polyhydrido Copper Clusters: Synthetic Advances, Structural Diversity, and Nanocluster-to-Nanoparticle Conversion
Prof. Chen-Wei Liu, PhD, Chair of the NDHU Department of Chemistry
The lectures were made possible by the Memorandum of Agreement between the University of Santo Tomas and the National Dong Hwa University of Taiwan.
