Angeles of History represents UST in International Conference on Asian Studies 2016

Nomer Guiller V. Angeles, MA, of the Department of History of the Faculty of Arts and Letters, presented his research paper entitled “The Changes in the Land use Patterns in Marikina: Effects to the Marikina River (1946-2009)” at the International Conference on Asian Studies 2016, last June 11-12, 2016 in Toronto, Canada
Angeles’s research paper tackled Urbanization and industrialization contributed to the drastic changes of land use which affected Marikina River, as well as the local government’s will to take steps to revive the river.
ICAS 2016 is an interactive platform to connect and reconnect colleagues around the world. It is also the premier knowledge-building event and the largest annual Asian Studies gathering in the North American continent.
