Elementary education students unveil papercutting art creations

Last April 18, 2016 (Monday), the College of Education, in celebration of its 90th founding year, opened the exhibition entitled "Other Class: Artwork City Year 6" at the Main Building Lobby. The exhibit contains various pieces of "Cover."
 
A form of art papercutting, the "Cover" is an intricate design made by using paper pastillas wrappers. This three-day exhibition launched last April 18, 2016 featured cover designs created by Elementary Education students, in honor of the late Mrs. Villaseñor Luz Mendoza-Ocampo.
 
Fr. Isidro Abaño, OP, Director of the UST Museum, led the ribbon-cutting ceremony held at the ground floor lobby of the Main Building together with Prof. Jose Carillo, PhD, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Asst; Prof. Anna Marie Bautista, Assistant Director of the UST Museum; Fr. Jesus Miranda Jr., OP, Ph.D., Regent of the College of Education; and Prof. Allan B. de Guzman, Ph.D., Dean of the College of Education.
