Asst. Prof. Maria Regina P. Arriero of the Department of English presented her research paper entitled “Semanticity and Function of Although” during the April 7-9, 2016 Linguistic Society of the Philippines Conference held in Silliman University, Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental.

The theme of the conference was “Asianization of English and English Language Teaching.” The conference director was Asst. Prof. Alejandro S. Bernardo, PhD, also from the Department of English.
