The Office of the Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation recognized Thomasian faculty researchers during the 2012-2014 Research/Creative Works and International Publication Awards program held last February 19, 2016 (Friday) at the Buenaventura G. Paredes, O.P. Building – Grand Ballroom.
Gold Series
This award is given to tenured faculty members with doctorate degrees and teaching load. The recipient must have at least five (5) research papers published in refereed journals/scholarly books in the last five (5) years, with at least two (2) of these published, one (1) of which is an international (Thomson Reuters/Scopus) publication, or has one (1) patent or utility model granted within the period covered by the award. The recipient must likewise have an ongoing research project under the Research Center or Research Unit of the University, and, finally, must have at least one (1) research disciple.
Creative Works Category
The awardee must be a tenured full-time faculty member with PhD or MD, teaching load, and must be exclusively teaching in UST, except for affiliates of the Graduate School. The awardee must have authored at least three (3) creative or critical works in the last five (5) years, with at least one (1) of these published within the period covered by the award. There must likewise be an ongoing study/creative project under the Research Center or Research Unit of the University.
