Nursing hosts 29 delegates from Deakin University, Australia

From January 23-29, 2016, 26 Nursing students from Deakin University, Australia, along with three staff members, participated in the 3rd Deakin University Australia Study Tour in the University of Santo Tomas.
 
The week-long study tour included community immersion with school nursing activity at Floridablanca, Pampanga’s Cabangcalan Elementary School. The participants likewise participated in a 1-day observational shift at the UST Hospital, with a buddy program implemented with senior UST Nursing students.
 
The Deakin delegates likewise attended the Launching of the 70th anniversary of the College of Nursing. They also presented the Australian Health Care Delivery System and participated in a Cultural Exchange program.
 
The study tour was coordinated by UST College of Nursing’s International Relations Coordinator Elizabeth Cortez and Barbara Green of Deakin University.
 
 
 
From July 30-August 8, 2016, UST will have its turn to send its students to Deakin.
