Miguel Angelo Eñano, a BS Hotel and Restaurant Management student of the University of Santo Tomas, won first place in the Virtual Business Hotel Competition of the International Council of Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Education (ICHRIE), Collegiate DECA, and Knowledge Matters, besting delegates from other ICHRIE or DECA member institutions.
Eñano successfully completed the online challenge, which required a profitable hotel management through setting revenue management policies and operating the hotel restaurant. The scorecard included profitability, customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction, and inventory levels.
The awarding ceremony will be held in the 2016 ICHRIE summer conference in Dallas, Texas.
