Education, nutrition programs granted Level IV status

The University of Santo Tomas’ Bachelor of Secondary Education, Bachelor of Elementary Education, and Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics programs have been granted Level IV accreditation status by the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA). This is the highest accreditation level awarded, and adds to the College of Education’s other Level IV program, BS Food Technology.

The accreditation, effective from June 2015 – June 2020, grants UST full autonomy, authority to offer new graduate programs, open learning/distance education program, and extension classes without prior approval from the Commission on Higher Education.
