Torres of HMR Philippines delivers lecture on keeping Thomasian values in business

Last September 23, 2015, the College of Commerce and Business Administration held its General Convocation at the Albertus Magnus Auditorium. During the event, Prof. Enrico Arelio L. Torres, PhD, an alumnus of the College and presently Chief Financial Officer of HMR Philippines, delivered a lecture on “Intensifying Thomasian Values in Business.”
Torres revealed that his Thomasian education unscored both academic and values formation. He urged the students to lead lives of honesty, integrity, and respect. During the talk, he asked the audience to GIVE (Give. Immediately. Virtue. Expedient), and reminded them about the JOY theory (Jesus first. Others second. Yourself last).
The convocation was in line with the 82nd founding anniversary of the College. Dr. Torres, apart from being a Commerce alumnus, is also a part-time faculty member at the Graduate School.
