Rehab. Sciences, Hospital, Rehabtrends host Overdrive 2.0 conference

The College of Rehabilitation Sciences, in partnership with the Apolinario Mabini Rehabilitation Center of the UST Hospital and with RehabTrends Inc., hosted The National Conference for Sports and Manual Medicine: The UST Challenge – Running Overdrive 2.0 last September 5-6, 2015, held at the Medicine Auditorium and the Quadricentennial Pavillon. The event was attended by close to 400 professionals and students, including some foreign delegates.
The event featured plenary sessions and parallel workshops on new knowledge and skills in pre-habilitation, assessment, and rehabilitation of running injuries, as well as the use of fascial movement techniques in the treatment of lower extremity musculoskeletal dysfunctions. Speakers from Australia, Italy, Japan, Singapore and the Philippines came to share their expertise and exchange best practices in the management of patients and clients.
