The Varsitarian, the 87-year-old
official student publication of the University of Santo Tomas (UST),
invites you to the 17th Inkblots on Dec. 1 to 3 at the Thomas Aquinas
Research Complex (TARC) Auditorium at UST, España, Manila.
Inkblots is the annual National Campus Journalism Fellowship where
hundreds of students learn from the country’s most prestigious and
respected journalists.
This year’s Inkblots will tackle how to maintain quality journalism in the digital age. The fellowship will consist of seminars on news writing, sports writing, features writing, and opinion writing among others.
Speakers include Nestor Cuartero (Features Writing), Eros Atalia
(Filipino Journalism), Fr. Nick Lalog (Catholic Journalism), Christian
Esguerra (News Writing) and many more.
Registration fee is P 1,500 (inclusive of fellowship kit, food and freebies). Slots are limited and on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Varsitarian will host welcome cocktails on the first day, December 1, and a fellowship dinner on the last day.
