UST Museum's Website compromised

Hackers claiming to side with China in a territorial dispute in the South China Sea defaced the website of the University of Santo Tomas Museum late Monday, June 8. Visitors to the website were greeted with an image of soldiers at war, with loud music playing in the background. The site was still defaced as of 8:55 a.m. Tuesday. The Philippines, China and Vietnam are engaged in a territorial dispute in the South China Sea, some parts of which the PHL refers to as the West Philippine Sea. A profanity-laced message was posted on the defaced web page, with one 'China 1937CN Team' claiming to be behind the incident. It said Vietnam and the PHL are only the 'pawns' of the US and Japan.
