Inter-University Peer Facilitators' Interaction 2015

INTER-UNIVERSITY PEER FACILITATORS’ INTERACTION 2015
GUIDANCE AND COUNSELING DEPARTMENT

The world needs movers who can initiate change to make this world a better place. Heeding to this call, the Peer Facilitators of various schools in Manila and nearby provinces convened at the University of Santo Tomas, in a whole day affair  last February 7, 2015. The Inter-University Peer Facilitators’ Interaction 2015 with the theme is “Peer Facilitators as World Class Movers” was organized by the UST Guidance and Counseling Department.  Around 200  participants  from 20 different schools participated, namely:   CEU, DLSU, DLSU-D, FEU, LPU, NU,  PLM, PNU, PWU, SMU, SSC, SBC-M, SBC-A, TUA, UA&P, UB-B, UB-L, UE-M, UE-C, UDM, UST-EHS and UST.

The assembly was graced by two young leaders, Mr. Kabaitan Bautista and Tobit Cruz, who in their own ways have contributed to social reforms.  They inspired the peer facilitators to   actively take part in community building by utilizing their talents and peer helping skills. The peer facilitators eagerly accepted the challenge to take small steps first by becoming a better version of themselves and from there they can eventually move the world.  The best part of it was the interaction brought about by the implementation of group dynamic activities by trained facilitators.

  1. I was searching for affordable or free team building and group activities online that contained some excellent activities. I had a better chance of getting approval for these from my boss. I decided to try a couple of these activities and found that they work well.
