Some people are generalizing that Catholics do want to see the Pope just because of shallow display of publicity — to announce in the social media that they've seen the Pope. Though we might not really know each person's motivation, such judgment made me reflect deeper about the Pope's visit to the country.
I am so ready to be one of those who will welcome him on Sunday (January 18, 2015) — to hear his message to the youth. The thought of seeing one of God's messengers already gives me goosebumps for it feels sacred that this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity — to personally witness his presence, hear his message and feel his empathy for us people all over the world — will happen. It feels like I am too young to be blessed.
