The Diocese of Legazpi, through benefactor Mrs. Maria Bernadette Lorenzo-Abrera, commissioned the College of Fine Arts and Design to paint a mural of the Holy Family to be installed at the Chancery’s Prayer Room. The art work was a collaborative painting done by Asst. Prof. Danilo Santiago, Asst. Dean Romeo Castro, former Dean Jaime delos Santos, Cebu-painter and student Mr. Florentino Impas, Mr. Karl Robert Tan, Mr. Thomas Daquioag, and CFAD Regent Fr. Edgardo Alaurin, O.P.
The mural was handed over to the Bishop of Legazpi, most Reverend Joel Baylon in a simple turn-over ceremony held at the Bishop’s residence in Daraga, Albay last March 11, 2016 (Friday), with CFAD Dean Mary Christie Que in attendance.
