Thomasian Mothers' Day Greetings 2015 (Gloria del Rio-Davantes)

Everytime I recall how our GOD loves us, His most loved creation, that He gave His only begotten SON, JESUS CHRIST, I believe that the first person whom He had called and had faithfully obeyed Him was a woman, Mother Mary who gave birth to our Savior, JESUS CHRIST to live and be with us.

Mary, a mother was chosen by GOD for He knows she would take full care of His Son, JESUS CHRIST, showering Him with her unconditional love from the day of conception until the end. And it was also Mother Mary whom JESUS CHRIST had entrusted His beloved disciple (John) during His suffering before His crucifixion. Both GOD and His SON had chosen that a woman’s love (that of a mother, Mary) as it is perceived unconditional.

A MOTHER never gets tired in giving her all to her child/children; she will weather the storm no matter what. Her children would come first, be it in sickness and in health, just to give them maybe not the best life that there could be then, but still, even just a decent living in a way that she could and that is OUR MOTHER, OUR BELOVED NANAY.

No amount of words nor money could compensate the hardships in life that OUR NANAY had gone thru for our welfare, in single handedly bringing us up. And lastly, WE, yours truly, Ma. Margarita (B.S Tourism graduate), and my siblings, Ramon Antonio (high school, Educ., College-Fine Arts, major in Interior Design graduate, Cum Laude) and Ma. Socorro (high school, Pay High graduate) would not be Thomasians that we are if it wasn’t because of the hardwork of our beloved NANAY.

Isa syang INA na walang humpay na kami’y INAaruga, INAalalayan sa lahat ng bagay, at laging INAalay ang kanyang oras at pagmamahal, kung kaya sa puso ko, wala kang katulad NANAY... Our Wind Beneath Our Wings.
